MCB
An MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) is an automatic safety switch. It turns off power when too much current flows through a circuit. It protects homes and devices from fire and damage, and you can reset it manually after fixing the fault. How It Works • Overload Protection: A bimetallic strip gets hot and bends when too much current flows for a long time, which trips the switch. • Short-Circuit Protection: A magnetic coil pulls a plunger right away during a sudden high-current fault to cut the power in milliseconds. • Arc Quenching: Special metal plates break and cool the spark that forms when the switch opens.
